Chipotle: Fresh Day on the Job f/ Alvin Cailan

Art directed and designed the graphic package for a custom spot using celebrity chef Alvin Cailan to promote Chipotle’s new carne asada option. With an insanely tight turnaround I worked closely with our Branded Content Creative Director to turn out a show logo, lower thirds, promotional end card, several custom graphic elements and ad banners promoting the spot to bring it altogether. I directed the video editor on where each graphic would appear and how it would live within the video.

The tight turnaround for this would have felt impossible to some but it also gave me the freedom to really lock in with the creative director for this project and get creative. The photos used were taken on a phone and a number of creative pivots were ideated [and executed] on the fly. We had to be creative and flexible so that this could launch in time for the rollout of the new menu item. The client was thankful and even used the bit for TV spots in specific programming. To see this pop up on TV was amazing.
